“Hotel King”

Hotel King

Oh man…this was a total makjang. It had the potential of being a great drama…. But the writers just ruined the plot with putting every cliché I can think of into the drama. Why would you do that? You have Lee Da Hae and Lee Dong Wook and you give them the shittiest script ever? Are you insane?

They were the reason I kept watching this drama because they had some serious chemistry. Hands down The Best on-screen couple I’ve ever seen. No doubt about it. There were some really interesting off-screen images and clips of them and by interesting I mean them being really, really adorable and comfy with each other. Get married, okay? =D

I just can’t imagine why the writers did this to them…., to us. Why throw in every possible cliché there is? It would have been great if they would have focused more on Lee Dong Wook’s character trying to become the so called “Hotel King”. But his whole cliché filled life was shown to us instead and the Hotel was just a background. The title should have been something like “The King of Miserable past”, “I Have Awful Parents”, “My Parents Want to Kill Me but I Don’t Know Who They Are” or just “Hotel Queen” because in the end he DIDN’T fudging get the hotel. How disappointing.

However, I liked the little side stories with the hotel staff and visitors and I would have loved to see more Lee Dong Wook in action. He looked so hot being in control of everything that had to do with the hotel. Gosh, he was mouthwatering. And Lee Da Hae just made me want to crawl in a hole and never come back. She’s just too perfect in every way possible. Soooo if you like makjang dramas then this is perfect for you because at least it has great actors with amazing chemistry. Also shirtless Lee Dong Wook will brighten your mood. 😉
